David has been architecting, organizing and leading large scale user-experience efforts and processes for 16 years. Some sample roles: Creative Director at Nike.com, UX Manager at Microsoft, Vice President of UX at Ask.com, Lithium.com and BitTorrent. Chief Interface Officer at what is now LBI, Creative Director of DLJDirect (now Etrade) and Apogee Networks, Chief Creative Office at Whitestone technologies, and founder of several start-ups. Through these efforts he has learned about the impact of good experiences in people’s quality of life… so a quest for educating both the industry and raising the end user’s own expectations has lead to the creation of Want Magazine. David holds BFA and BID from RISD. Teaches and speaks when requested. His own favorite user experience is Nutella (with a proper butter knife).
